The importance of the study of Knowledge Active Forgetting (KAF) is generally described. In this paper, in order to create a comprehensive definition, different definitions of organizational forgetting and knowledge active forgetting presented in the literature, have been reviewed. In addition, key concepts and characteristics that should be considered in the definition of KAF have been extracted. Based on this, concept KAF as an intentional and systematic activity is dependent on the value of knowledge manages. Then, in order to analyze the relationship between KAF and knowledge stickiness to person and organizational context, we gathered qualitative rich data by case study as one of the qualitative research methods. Based on the results of data analysis it can be expressed that by increasing stickiness of knowledge to person and organizational context, the resistance to process of KAF is increased. As a result, organization will be allocated more time and effort in order to manage old and obsolete knowledge. The results of this paper can help managers of organizations to manage their old and obsolete knowledge according to the level of knowledge stickiness to people and organizational context.

In today’s business world, human resource is concerned as fundamental capital of organizations. In fact, human resource is the chief organizational tool to achieve the strategies and goals. According to the significance of human resource, the present research aimed to develop a framework, by which the human resource strategies can be developed on the basis of the knowledge dimension, which is one of the most important resources for generating competitive advantage. Previous models and approaches did not concern to the knowledge aspect of the employees in human resource strategy process, which is a significant lack in these models. The main difference of the framework of this research and that of previous study is paying due attention in work to the knowledge in human resource strategy development process as a determinant factor, especially for the knowledge based organizations. Indeed, the main finding of this study is development of a human resource strategy framework that emphasizes to the knowledge aspect, which is applicable in new businesses of the present era of transferring to the knowledge based organizations. For validating the suggested framework, the expert opinion, one of the research methods for conceptual studies, was used.

This research was designed to identify the critical success factors of business process reengineering in an Iranian defense industries case study based on multivariate data analysis. Through developing a business process reengineering model and implementing it on the case study, the business processes were be managed and then its success was be analyzed, by a questionnaire. This analysis initially, represents the success of applied changes, and then follows the critical success factors of process reengineering in three main factors.
Subsequently, by multiple regression tool, the business process reengineering success as dependent variable was estimated by the above three factors. The results, showed goodness and validity of the regression model. Accordingly, belief to change, change of infrastructures, participation of people in changing programs and decreasing of the resistance against the changes are the critical success factors of business process reengineering in the respective organization.
