Publons Membership and Review Registration Guide
Publons is a service that allows researchers to introduce their reviews internationally and have them tracked and recognized. In this way, after registering their reviews in the Publons system, the number of reviews is recorded and displayed in the Publons system by publication name.
Therefore, your articles, references to your articles, your reviews, and other scientific research can be centralized in the Publons system and promote your scientific and academic progress at international levels.
After reviewing an article in a scientific journal, a researcher must complete the following steps to register his review in the Publons system:
1- Register in Publons:
https://publons.com/about/home
2- After registering and entering information on your personal page, you become a Publons member and the result will be notified to your email.
3- After reviewing each article, enter your review in Publons. To add your review to Publons, some publications ask you if you want your review to be automatically added to Publons. Therefore, by clicking on the yes option as follows, the review will be automatically transferred to the Publons system and added.
4- Most publications do not have this option. To add a review, simply forward the publication's thank you email sent to you for the review to reviews@publons.com directly.
5- After receiving Publons' response, this review will be added to your number of approved reviews in the Publons system. Thus, the number of Verified reviews and the name of the publication will be displayed as follows.
6- Another task performed by Publons is to endorse various publications of your choice in Publons. For this purpose, it is sufficient to search for the title of the publication and confirm it after logging into your personal page in the Publons system.
7- For this purpose, by clicking on the ENDORSE THIS JOURNAL button, your name and photo will appear on the Publons page of the mentioned journal.
Obviously, any of your refereeing activities in Publons will promote your scientific advancement and recognition in the global community.
