In choosing an alternative among many, decision makers usually take into account multiple criteria’s, which are sometimes in line with each other and sometimes conflicting. When there is dependencies between criteria, MCDM techniques such as ANP, AHP and DEMATEL could be applied. Another approach is to classify criteria that are correlated with each other. In this study a new approach of set covering problem to this end has been used. Our objective is setting these criteria into clusters so that their correlation in each cluster to be maximized, and also their correlation with others be minimized. In order to validate our proposed model, factor analysis method used. Data gathered from 9 industries related to 26 foreign countries. Finally, results of both models were almost similar. The results show that efficiency of the proposed method (set covering) for grouping variables is acceptable and this method in future research can be used to classify variables (when there is a correlation between variables).

This research aims to incorporate human factors engineering into the scheduling theory in order to exploit optimized human performance. Staff scheduling issue in which part-time employees have variable performance was studied in this paper. Objective function of the mathematical model is to minimize staffing costs and provided model tries to determine best shifts duration and employees assignments. The unique characteristic and novelty of this study is consideration of ergonomic aspect (fatigue rate of employees) in staff scheduling problem. We used genetic algorithm to solve model. In order to examine effectiveness and efficiency of the model, a set of problems were solved. Also efficiency of GA algorithm results were compared against LINGO results. Comparison of results demonstrated that GA algorithm has good ability to find satisfying solution in reasonable computational running time. This study showed that we can model human fatigue in employee scheduling and planning and consider flexible working shifts to decrease labor cost and increase production efficiency. In order to study policies of decreasing labor fatigue and increasing his/her working capacity, applying provided model were suggested for comparing cost of policies (such as education, job rotation, automation and …) against economic benefits of them in scheduling and choosing the best.

The government, through its policies, is trying to expand the boundaries of accountability by monitoring and evaluation. Therefore designing a monitoring and evaluation system in each of the areas of government activities, in addition to learning policy, also helps to improve policies and policy making. Increasing demand for knowledge, endeavors of top sovereignty in committing to science and technology, developing a comprehensive scientific map, changing the admissions system, expansion of academic education and research institutions, requires the need for developing a monitoring and evaluation of the policies of the Ministry of Education. In this study, a monitoring and evaluation model is designed using five criteria includes Relevancy, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact by results-based management. This model is tested in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. Results show that the groundwork for the development of this model started from the introduction of monitoring and evaluation and the three main groups demand-driven assessment include Sovereignty, state and civil society which provide its way through results-based management chain .

Nowadays, web-based services like E-Commerce and E-Banking make fundamental changes to the ways of using internet and human's life. Web shares direct media with low costs between services of businesses and their customers. Businesses need to record, study and analyze their users' behavior and interests in order to adapt content and interface of their web site with users' interest for targeted marketing and advertising and then complete the process of personalization. For this purpose and for analysis of users’ behavior and making recommendations based on the users’ behavior, web mining approaches can be used. In this paper, a model was developed which can be applied for analyzing and predicting users' behaviors of a specific web site. First, users were clustered with affinity propagation algorithm and then, their behaviors were analyzed using sequential pattern mining algorithm called CM-SPADE. In the next step, for each cluster, Users' profile was created. Then by using these profiles, recommendations can be made for new users. At last, the represented model was evaluated and the final results was acceptable.

The main purpose of this paper is to provide a structured insight into the current state of marketing research in Iran. Therefore, a systematic review of 966 studies published in Persian scientific journals (2001-2015) was conducted. The review of published studies shows that consumer behavior, brand and marketing strategy are the first three subjects that have been considered by researcher and have experienced a growing trend. Findings show that majority of active researchers in marketing have only one published study; therefore, mainstream of research in this field does not reach to its professional maturity. Also, published researches are mainly based on quantitative methods (structural equations modeling and inferential statistical analysis). Using quantitative methods has a direct relationship with the type of data collection and show a significant difference with the growing trend of qualitative research in the international marketing journals.

Value engineering is a powerful tool for solving problems based on creativity and function and it has been used in construction projects for many years and could prove its advantages to all members of this industry in recent years. However, like other tools, it has the ability to upgrade and increase productivity. This study attempts to provide a consolidated framework for value engineering and risk management. Accordingly, after identifying the model’s factors in these two areas, models which are more associated with the construction industry have been chosen. Based on experts' opinions, top models were selected for integration. By using the Delphi method, experts reached a consensus for sequence of the framework steps. After necessary synchronization, this framework implemented in Ports and Maritime Organization as a verification. By using this framework, the process of value engineering is improved. Risk management (associating experts who are aware of all aspects of project) was executed in two levels and based on fuzzy logic. It resulted in spending less time and money.

Work engagement is a psychological state experiencing energy, absorption and dedication at work. The purpose of this study is to investigate impact of psychological empowerment and its components on work engagement. This cross sectional study was practical in terms of goal and descriptive-correlational in terms of nature. The statistical population was several public organizations in Mashhad, Iran. A simple random sampling method was applied. Krejcie and Morgan table showed that the suitable sample size is 384. Then, 420 questionnaires were distributed, led to 389 collected completed questionnaires. To measure the work engagement, Schaufeli, Bakker, and Salanova scale, and to measure psychological empowerment, Spreitzer scale were used. Using confirmatory factor analysis, the validity of measures were approved. The results of path analysis in LISREL software showed that psychological empowerment explains 73 percent of the employees' work engagement. While, competence’s effect on work engagement was not statistically significant, other components of psychological empowerment such as meaning, self-determination, and impact, had 48 percent, 33 percent and 38 percent positive and significant effect on the work engagement, respectively. Therefore, psychological empowerment is a significant predictor for work engagement. The results indicate that the organization performs interventions to increase employees' psychological empowerment. The pivot of these interventions should focused on sense of meaning for the tasks, self-determination, and impact.
